Wardrobe self edit

I’ve got some weekend homework for you! As we are hitting a new month, and a new season, it’s the perfect time to do this.

There is no point having clothes in your wardrobe that you don’t wear. They take up valuable space and stop you seeing the wood for the trees.

So this is a really useful exercise for those stubborn items in your wardrobe that you struggle to get rid of, but don’t wear. Take them out of your wardrobe and hang them on a rail or in a separate area. These are your go-to items each day. If you manage to wear something (and you feel good in it), it has earned its place back in your wardrobe. Whatever remains unworn after a month, it’s time to go. Do this now for your winter clothes!

Refreshing your wardrobe each season is a great way to keep only what truly works for you. This kind of self edit helps highlight the pieces you actually enjoy wearing while making it easier to let go of what no longer fits your style. During colder months in the United Kingdom, reliable outerwear becomes even more important, and staples like men's bomber jackets can easily earn their place back in your rotation thanks to their versatility and everyday comfort.
